The Moova Original baby carrier is the first ever baby carrier designed to specifically support your baby’s motor development, while also being one of the easiest and simplest carriers on the market.
Your baby will love the Moova baby carrier, which provides exactly the freedom of movement your baby needs at each new stage of development. And when your baby just wants to rest and snuggle, adjust the back panel and your baby will soon be on the road to dreamland.
You’ll also love the generously padded crossed shoulder straps and adjustable back panel, which takes the hassle out of getting your child in and out of the carrier. The Moova baby carrier will fit you like a tailor-made dress and you will feel safe and comfortable even when carrying your baby for long periods of time.
You can carry your baby on your front, hip or back. There is no forward-facing position as you won’t need it. In the Moova baby carrier, your baby has ample opportunity to turn towards all the excitement around them, while sitting in the most ergonomically optimal inward-facing position.
And, of course, it gives great peace of mind to know that your baby is in a baby carrier that uses the highest quality cotton fabric and components and is environmentally certified by internationally recognized bodies – OEKO-TEX 100 Standard or Bluesign, so you don’t have to worry about her or him sucking on the different parts of the harness.

Frequently asked questions
Typical questions about the Moova baby carrier
Yes, it is both easy and safe to put your child in the Moova baby carrier – without any help from others.
Moova is among the easiest harnesses on the market, thanks to the pre-set, crossed shoulder straps and the adjustable panel that you can zip down when placing your child in the harness.
This makes your everyday life much easier, because you often have to take the child in and out of the harness during the day – for example, when they need to sleep, want to sit up on their own, or need to get in the cargo bike or car.
When infants protest being in a baby carrier or sling, it is most often because they feel too confined and have too little freedom of movement.
With Moova's adjustable back panel, you can give your child exactly the right amount of support and freedom.
We have yet to hear of a baby who has not been comfortable in a correctly adjusted Moova baby carrier. If you are still in doubt – and have a child who has previously been uncomfortable in baby carriers or slings – we recommend that you try the carrier in a store.
Yes, the Moova baby carrier is ergonomic – both for your baby and for you. In the first month of life, you can choose to leave your child's feet inside the panel, so that they sit in the so-called frog position: with bent hips and limited spread of the legs. A position recommended by leading pediatric orthopedists.
You can also adjust the width of the panel so that it supports under the child's thighs and goes all the way from one knee to the other, while the lower legs are placed outside the panel.
This position places the baby in the optimal, so-called M-position , where the knees are slightly higher than the baby's bottom. This also applies to the hip and back position.
The Moova baby carrier is approved by The International Hip Dysplasia Institute as “hip healthy” .
Yes, as long as you make sure to adjust the height of the back panel so that it adequately supports your baby's head.
As long as your baby is comfortable and can keep warm if you are outside, always pay close attention to your baby's signals and be careful not to hold your baby in the same position for too long at a time.
This is a special zipper from the world's largest quality manufacturer, YKK. The type is called auto-lock and contains a mechanism that locks the sliding housing unless the pendant/"pull tab" is pulled. The Moova baby carrier has been tested and certified by an external product testing company to withstand a very large number of dynamic impacts from a 20 kg test dummy.
Yes, you can. The parts that your baby can come into contact with with his mouth are all Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified.
You can use the Moova baby carrier from newborn (3.5 kg) until your child weighs 20 kg.
You can carry your child on your stomach, on your hip and on your back.
When can you use the hip position?
Most children start actively reaching out at around 3 months of age and are becoming more aware of their surroundings. And by 3 months, most children can hold their heads up. This is a great time to start moving your baby onto your hip while you are doing things around the house or out and about. It is very easy to switch from front to hip position and vice versa. Your baby will love following what you are doing.
When can you use the supine position?
We recommend that the back position be used from around 11-12 months at the earliest. Under no circumstances should the back position be used before the child can sit up.
upright unsupported and has full control over his head. The back position is mostly used when your child feels too heavy, which is a very individual assessment. Our user experience shows that the Mova baby carrier
Crossed and well-padded shoulder straps provide such good support that many parents choose to continue with the front position until their child is two years old.
We have deliberately chosen not to use the forward-facing position for several reasons. We fundamentally believe that the forward-facing position is the wrong solution to a real problem. The real problem for many babies in existing baby carrier designs is that they are too confined and do not have enough view of the world when they are in the inward-facing position. And this goes against many children's instincts and drive to experience the world around them. Our solution is to give your baby enough freedom of movement and view in the optimal inward-facing position. So far, no baby has objected to sitting in this position in the Moova baby carrier. At the same time, you support your baby's motor development to a much greater extent than in the misunderstood forward-facing position.
The Moova baby carrier is adjustable and can therefore be used by parents who vary in size from XS to XXL.
Moova Balance: No, it must be washed by hand. Moova Balance is made from organic, yarn-dyed textiles that preserve their colour and structure best with gentle care. Machine washing wears down both the fibres and the shape-retaining support elements in the carrier, which are essential for proper ergonomics. Hand washing ensures that the materials stay beautiful and functional for a long time.
Moova Original: Yes, wash at max. 30 degrees. Make sure all buckles are fastened and that excess band ends are rolled up and the elastic holders enclose them. Preferably use a laundry bag or alternatively a buttoned or zipped pillowcase. Hang to dry. Do not tumble dry.
